Price moves are for managers and owners. An answer built on them is redacted for staff in a shared thread.

Each line is marked as from your records, calculated, Sage’s read, or missing evidence. A check that did not complete is named as one.
It has limits, and a stop.
Sage has answer time limits and a daily usage cap. If it stops, you can continue working in the rest of CostCook.

Is Sage available now?
Yes. Sage is available inside CostCook. You can reach it from the app navigation and, while setup is unfinished, from the setup header.
How does Sage help during setup?
Your setup progress saves after each stage. Ask Sage opens the assistant with starting questions that fit the stage and the records entered so far. Back to setup returns you to the unfinished stage.
What can I ask Sage?
Sage supports eleven read-only checks across the shift, recipes, stock, buying and setup. It can also prepare one shopping-list proposal for an owner or manager to review.
Can Sage change my kitchen records?
Not on its own. Eleven checks read records. The twelfth tool can prepare a shopping-list proposal. A person reviews the impact, and CostCook checks the underlying records again before an approved proposal is created.
What happens when the evidence is missing?
Sage names the missing evidence or an incomplete check instead of filling the gap with a confident number. The answer remains useful because it tells you what the record still needs.
Who can see price moves or approve a shopping-list draft?
Ingredient price moves and shopping-list preparation require a manager or owner. Staff can ask about attention, orders, recipe costs and receiving follow-ups without using Sage as a way around CostCook roles.
